Parle G : The Story of an Invincible Brand | Jiqyasa - The Quiz Club

All of you must have eaten Parle-G I still eat it, it tastes so good and is so nostalgic. The girl on its cover, Is very much debated upon, like whose picture is this and where it came from . I will tell you this, but first of all, let's see  how this company actually started.See, when Britishers used to rule in India, Then everything was not so affordable, Candies and biscuits were consumed by the Britishers only, And the common man can't afford it .

So, Mohanlal Dayal, who was very inspired by India's revolution, He said that he wanted to make something for India, So he went to Germany and learned how to make candies from there Then he purchased a candy making machine, And started a small factory in Mumbai, In which he made Orange candies, This was the starting of Parle, First of all, they made orange candies, Then they thought that biscuits are necessary too, As Britishers eat it, but Indians could not, So he started biscuits by the name of Parle gluco in 1939, And these were a big hit, Everybody liked them, But they stopped their production for some time during World war, But their production started again and went popular in the whole country, It was named Parle gluco at that time, Around the 1980s they saw that, Brittania started producing their biscuits and other companies are copying them too.

You must have listened about Glucose-D too, So many biscuits started to come by the name of glucose, Now, the word glucose cannot be copyrighted as it is a common word, So parle only kept the word G from Glucose, So Parle-G means G for genius and G for Glucose too, Mohanlal created such a product which became World's no.1 selling biscuit, And there is a special thing about these biscuits, Its price does not increase, Now you must think about why its prices do not rise, This is because its a packet is always shrinking, Because they keep the price the same but reduce the size I must ask you a very important question regarding Parle, listen carefully, This can be asked in KBC too:) If we dip Parle 2 times in tea, then it does not break But it breaks if we dip for the third time, So what is the optimum amount of the no. of times Parle-G should be dipped into tea, And with which speed, Please tell this time to me in the Comments section below .

A question arises on this that, The picture on its packet is it is of a boy or a girl? And whose picture is it? Some say that it is Sudha murti and some say that it is neeru Deshpande, And some say that it is Gunjan Gundania But this economic times article clearly tells that, It is nobody's picture, This is actually an illustration made by Everest creative In the 1960s, It was hand drawn. So this rumor is now 100% cleared for you,Every person who tries to make a product for Indian people, Creates an Iconic product in itself, Nirma also did this, Detergent was 13.5rs/Kg at that time, So they decided to make their own and sold it in 3rs/kg And today people ask the shopkeeper for Nirma Because that is a brand name now, And same is the case with parle-G When they saw that the Britishers are eating candy, And Eat their own biscuits while drinking Assamese tea, And our people can't eat it.

So Mohanlal Dayal decided to make Biscuit for them too, And you know why I am telling you this, Our country's youth thinks that for whom he should create a product for in 2021, Then people don't understand that, American companies come here and target our population, And there is a scarcity of products in India for Indians Which caters to India's Rural population etc, If you create a product like this or take part in a movement like this, So understand that you are only a few steps away from becoming an Iconic Brand, And that's why I think that these stories should be recited continuously, So that more and more people are motivated through this.

When Murugan died in Amsterdam in 2003, it was an end to a remarkable chapter in Indian diplomacy. In the first decade and a half after Independence, India sent numerous individuals like Murugan to dozens of countries. Although today less remembered than a similar exercise that China does, it was extremely popular. Several children would even write directly to Jawaharlal Nehru, hoping to get this done. What is this? What is the Chinese equivalent ? ( HINT : Look at the picture ) Follow us on our YouTube channel  https://youtu.be/AqJZBVhg-M0
