Jigyasa - The Quiz Club

  During a counselling session, a Byju's sales executive asked Anushka what she wanted to become when she grew up. Anushka, who was in the 6th class, replied that she wanted to become a doctor. Over the next hour, the Byju's sales executive convinced Anushka's parents to part with nearly Rs 1.2 lakh for a 7-year subscription of Byju's. And that too, the entire payment paid upfront. But how did the sales executive manage to do that? First, he gives her a test. He loads a few questions on his tablet and tells her she has four minutes to solve all of them. Anushka answers all the questions in merely two minutes. Anushka's mother went on to say that Anushka is very smart but both she and her husband don't have enough time to devote to Anushka's studies. So they have to send Anushka to a tuition center. That's exactly the opportunity that the BYJU's executive needed for his sales pitch.  He said that Byju's will make Anushka's base strong. BYJU

 Members from Jigyasa quiz club participated in the Saksham quiz organised by Petroleum conservation reasearch association (PCRA) in 2019 They were able to win the district round and ultimately won the State round to become the state champions  They went on to represent the State of Bihar in the Zonal finals held at Kolkata  the team members were - Vishnu upadhyay and suhani kumari and they were mentored by Dr CB pandey 

  Members from Jigyasa quiz club participated in the "Wild Fundas" Inter school quiz on wildlife, nature and environment held on July 29,2017 on Global Tiger day and were able to bag the 3rd position among 108 Teams across patna  the quiz was held at the renowned Sanjay Gandhi biological park,Patna and was conducted by the Environment and Forest department ,Government of Bihar  The quiz was organised by Well known quiz master in Quizzing circuits - Venky srinivasan and his team Nexus consulting  the team members were - Dipanshu kumar,Vishnu upadhyay and Prateek kumar and mentored by Dr CB pandey 

  Members from jigyasa quiz club participated in the "Father Murphy memorial inter school quiz contest" at St Michael's high school ,patna (SMHS)  held on 2nd August 2019 to commemorate the 101st birth anniversary of Father Murphy ,who happens to be Ex principal of SMHS The team became the winner in the quiz and bagged the gleaming trophy for the school Aps Danapur cantt .  The Team members were - Vishnu upadhyay and Prateek kumar. The team was mentored by Dr. C. B Pandey 

Our Quiz Club members participated and stood 2nd and 4th respectively in Canara bank Quiz conducted in Patna on 13 Sept 2019 .  The Team consisting of Prateek kumar and Vishnu Upadhyay stood 2nd in the quiz and got a cash Prize of  ₹ 30,000 .   The other team consisting of Anshul kumar Thakur and Dil stood 4th and got the consolation prize.  Both the teams were mentored by Dr. C. B Pandey  The Quiz was Conducted by Greycells quizzing Company. 

                                                                                              Our   Quiz Club members participated  and won in School Quiz League  Patna Round in both Junior and Senior category in 2018 and 2019 .  The Quiz was conducted by renowned Quiz master  Mr. Guarava Yadav  * 2018   Senior category -  Vishnu Upadhyay and Dipanshu kumar  Junior Category -  Anshul kumar Thakur and Prateek kumar    APS Danapur also represented the School at the National finale of SQL held at Jalandhar in Jan , 2019 .  * 2019   Senior Category - Anshul kumar Thakur and Prateek kumar  Junior category -  Kislay kumar and Swetank kumar 

Our Quiz Club participated in the Patna mindfest held at Bihar museum on 24 August 2019 . We won the 2nd Prize in the General Quiz and 3rd Prize in the India Quiz.  The Quiz was conducted by Venkatesh Srinivasan, alumni of IIM bangalore and a very popular QM in the Quizzing Circuits .  The Team members were :-  Vishnu Upadhyay, Prateek kumar and Anshul kumar Thakur.  * 2021   Our quiz Club members stood 3rd in  Dumb charades  in Patna Mindfest  held in March 2021 .  The members were :-  kislay kumar, Swetank Kumar and Karan . 

  A wonderful journey that started on 28 november 2017 in Patna to the National finale in Mumbai on 2nd february 2018 .    The members of our Jiqyasa Quiz Club of APS Danapur  :-  Prateek  kumar, Anshul kumar and kislay kumar won the regional round in Patna and went on to represent in the national final held in Mumbai.  Let's have a look at the journey of our quiz members and our Mentor Dr. C.
